TC instructor Training has been running since October 2009. In that time we have achieved 85% pass rate for first time passes on the ADI Part 3 test. This compares favourably with the National overall average of 33% pass rate. So far, all of our trainees have passed their Part 2 test first time.That is now all our trainees apart from 1
All training is individually tailored and delivered by Tony, who is DSA ORDIT registered and has a proven record in delivering first class Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) training. Tony is also a Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and is RoSPA Gold certified. Tony’s ADI training can easily be arranged around your existing commitments and is charged on a pay as you go basis. This is far more cost effective, as you only pay for the training you need. All training will be one-to-one.
In order to become an Approved Driving Instructor you need the following:
- A full UK or EU licence for 4 out of the past 6 years?
- To be able read a normal size number plate from a distance of 27.5 metres (90 feet) with glasses if required.
- Less than six points on your licence
- No convictions in the past ten years that would prevent you from being on the Driving Instructors Register. For example: robbery, assault.
